Minnesota River Valley Lodge #6 July 2003 Volume #5, Issue #4 "Issued with the Permission of the M.W. Grand Lodge of Minnesota"
A Message from the Master I would like to thank the Brothers of the Lodge for electing me to the office of Master of Minnesota River Valley Lodge #6. I would like to ask you for your support during my term as the Master of our fraternity. After attending the Grand Lodge session in St. Cloud, and listening to the exciting programs and innovations that are proposed by our new Grand Master Neil Neddermeyer, I am convinced this is the best year ever to be involved in Masonry. This is especially true in the case of a lodge with as much potential as MRVL #6. If nothing changes – nothing changes. Every person and organization at some time has to make some changes in order to survive and adapt in their environment or society. Minnesota River Valley Lodge was created through change. Because of that fact, in order to survive our lodge must be ready to embrace new ideas and concepts. Over the coming year I will be proposing that we make some changes for the good of Masonry, our lodge – for you, my Brothers. Providing the opportunity for you, a Brother of MRVL #6, to strengthen your foundation in our fraternity will be my goal over the coming year. The emphasis will be on initiating such a varied array of activities and programs that every brother can find something to be excited about, involved in, and proud of. A priority will be to give meaning and purpose to the TIME that you spend in the development of your Masonic career and our Brotherhood. Our goal together can be to develop Masonry into "Something great to BE, along with something great to DO." * I look forward to a great year. Marc Peterson Worshipful Master

His idea is to start profiling a couple of Brothers in the monthly newsletter. The profile will include some details about the brother’s family, education, occupation, hobbies, interests, history and accomplishments in Masonry. This will be a great way for the Brothers to start to get to know each other just a little bit better.
