Minnesota River Valley Lodge #6 October 2003 Volume #5, Issue #7 "Issued with the Permission of the M.W. Grand Lodge of Minnesota"
A Message from the Master We’re rollin’ now! I want to thank the more than 30 brothers that turned out for the regular October communication. Now it just so happened that the Job’s Daughters and their adult advisors had prepared an excellent chili dinner for the brother’s that night. The young ladies also brought an outstanding video presentation on what’s new and exciting in the current Job’s Daughters’ program. Pay special attention to the Friendship Night that will be held at the lodge on Tuesday, October 21st. Brother TJ Berg has planned an evening where, in an informal setting, we can show our fraternity off to our friends and relatives. Please take it upon yourself as a Mason to ask at least one person to join you at the lodge that night. I guarantee there will be no arm-twisting or hard sell – just an outstanding opportunity to expose them to the idea of joining our fraternity. Things have changed and we are not hiding our group under a cloak of secrecy and we’re darn proud of it. Just ask the two men who submitted their petitions last night!! Take a look at the minutes from this month’s Steering Committee meeting and the calendar of events. Pick out what looks interesting and fun for you and get involved. If you have a new or different idea, let me know and we’ll start working on it. This is YOUR fraternity.
