Masons for 50 + Years

John Loutzenhiser, Grand Lodge District 19 Representative (left), and Alan Greene, Chaplain of the Minnesota River Valley Lodge #6 (right), had the honor of presenting Eugene Dodge (second from left) with his 50 year pin. Granted it was a year or two late, but it was none the less an important moment in Gene’s life. We know this because he had cake and coffee prepared for us at his apartment in Anoka, and even invited a friend to share in the ceremony.

Brother Gene was a Past Master of the former King Solomon Lodge (which is now a part of the Minnesota River Valley Lodge #6).

Who is the fellow second from the right you say? That’s Brother Bob Blair, Gene’s guest from the Henry Barnes Lodge in Dayton, Kentucky. He shares the 50 year honor with Gene as well as being a member of the 60 year club and is about to become a 70 year member. He also now resides in Anoka.
