Plumb Line for July 2005

Hello My Brothers,
As I’m sure you can imagine, it has been a very busy and trying time for me as Grand Master. I want you to also know that the future of our Craft looks bright and promising and I am pleased with what is happening around the state. Here are some of the things that are happening:
____________

The Masonic Motorcycle Club International Annual Convention begins Thursday August 4 and runs to Sunday, August 7. The convention will be held at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs. All are welcome to attend. Make your room reservations directly with the casino by calling 800-626-5825. Rates for the group are $20.00 Thursday night and $45.00 Friday and Saturday. Registration and hospitality will be August 4th. A ride to Hibbing scheduled on the 5th with lunch at Mesaba Lodge #255 at noon. The cost for this ride is $11.00. The lunch is open to anyone. The cost for lunch for non riders is $6.00

Friday, August 5, an all you can eat spaghetti dinner will be held at
Cuyuna Lodge #276 in Crosby, with help from Mystic Lodge #213 of Aitkin.
Our group will be there around 6:30 pm. I believe the cost will be $7.00
and is open to the public.

Saturday, August 6th will start with a ride to the Emily Town Hall for the Annual Meeting. A picnic lunch will follow. A Bike show back at the hotel will be followed with a banquet dinner at 7:00PM. Registration fee for the event is $60.00.
This will be a great time for all
___________

Congratulations to RW Bro. Fred Vihovde on his election as the 3rd Vice President of the National Sojourners. If tradition prevails Fred will be president of this great organization in 2010.
