Chaska Masonic Lodge # 151
Lodge Historical Dates

  • 1881 - Chaska Lodge organized under dispensation.

  • 1883 - Chaska Lodge received charter on January 10, 1883. The meetings were held at the Odd Fellows Hall, which is now the second floor of Butch's Tavern in Chaska, MN.

  • 1894 - Chaska Eastern Star Chapter # 65 first organized on February 8, 1894.

  • 1926 - Chaska Lodge moved their meetings to the upstairs of Mittelsted garage, which is now Chaska Auto Repair.

  • 1964 - Chaska Lodge began the annual spring flower sale to raise money for purchasing a lodge building.

  • 1974 - Chaska Lodge began the annual Christmas poinsettia flower sale to raise additional money for the building fund.

  • 1975 - Chaska Lodge moved into the basement of the Moravian Church.

  • 1976 - Carver Lodge # 111 consolidated with Chaska Lodge # 151.

  • 1982 - Chaska Eastern Star Chapter merged with Excelsior Chapter # 20, June 16, 1982.

  • 1982 - Chaska Lodge purchased a lodge building at 202 Walnut Street, Chaska, MN.

  • 1983 - Chaska Lodge celebrates the 100 year anniversary on September 10, 1983 at Hazeltine Golf Course.

  • 1989 - Moved lodge from basement of Moravian Church to building purchased by Chaska Lodge at 202 Walnut Street, Chaska, MN.

  • 1997 - In April, Chaska Lodge sells their building at 202 Walnut street and moves their meetings to King Solomon Lodge # 44 in Shakopee, MN.

  • 1999 - On July 10, 1999 Chaska Lodge # 151 merged with King Hiram Lodge # 31 of Jordan, King Solomon Lodge # 44 of Shakopee, and Rough Ashlar Lodge # 177 of Belle Plaine to form "Minnesota River Valley Lodge # 6.
